OUR PURPOSE

Our goal is to nurture curious, independent and creative children who are able to think critically, collaborate, understand themselves and act responsibly in the world around them.

TWO CURRICULA – MORE OPPORTUNITIES

TEMEM students follow both the Lithuanian National Curriculum and the Cambridge Primary programme. We complement the national curriculum with an international learning experience in English and enrich education through STEAM, technology, arts and creative activities.

The two programmes complement each other, helping children not only to acquire knowledge but also to learn how to apply it, explore, create, collaborate and find solutions independently.

WHAT MAKES TEMEM SPECIAL?

BILINGUAL EDUCATION AND INTERNATIONAL TEAM

TEMEM students learn in both Lithuanian and English, while our international team of teachers brings a variety of cultures, languages and experiences into everyday school life. The bilingual environment helps children use both languages naturally and grow into open-minded global citizens.

SMALL CLASSES AND INDIVIDUAL ATTENTION

Classes have a maximum of 12 students, allowing teachers to get to know each child well – their strengths, learning pace and individual needs. This enables us to set individual goals, monitor progress and provide timely support or additional challenges when needed.

STEAM, TECHNOLOGY AND CREATIVITY

We integrate STEAM, technology and the arts into experiential learning, encouraging children to create, build, experiment, code and explore different ways of solving problems. Creative activities foster curiosity, imagination and the confidence to try new ideas.

LEARNING IN NATURE THROUGH EXPERIENCE

Learning at TEMEM extends beyond the classroom. The natural environment surrounding our school becomes a space for exploration, observation and experimentation, while educational trips and hands-on activities help children connect their knowledge with the real world. We encourage children to ask questions, try, make mistakes and find answers independently.

MONITORING PROGRESS AND PARTNERING WITH PARENTS

We consistently monitor students’ progress and base our educational decisions not only on teachers’ observations but also on learning data. Three times a year, we discuss each child’s progress individually with their parents and work together to set the next learning goals.

SUSTAINABILITY, MINDFULNESS AND RESPONSIBILITY

Children learn to care for animals and the environment, reduce food waste, sort waste and use resources responsibly. We also make time each day for reading, mindfulness and relaxation practices that help children develop self-awareness and the ability to focus.
