EDUCATION IN OUR SCHOOL

What Makes TEMEM Special:

Bilingual Education – International Staff

  • At TEMEM, children learn all subjects in both Lithuanian and English, starting from kindergarten. By the time they graduate, students are well-prepared to continue their education in either international or Lithuanian schools.
  • Our teaching staff is young, international, and highly motivated to grow and improve. Teachers come from diverse backgrounds, including Turkey, Latvia, Cameroon, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, and Lithuania.
  • Small class sizes (up to 15 children per classroom) allow our teachers to provide personalized attention and support that is often impossible in larger schools.

Emphasis on Technology and Arts

  • At TEMEM, the Lithuanian primary education curriculum is enriched with technology and art subjects. Activities such as STEAM projects, pottery, cooking, instrument playing, robotics, and coding blend technology with creativity.
  • Computational thinking is reinforced through activities such as Numicon, chess, programming, and solfeggio. Children use tablets and smartboards to nurture their curiosity about technology.
  • Our students love performing! Frequent concerts, performances, and art-based learning foster creativity, an essential skill for the modern world.

Focus on Improvement

  • We believe in data-driven education. At TEMEM, we use individualized and evidence-based teaching methods to improve students’ outcomes. Educational data informs our decisions, ensuring quality education.
  • Cooperation with parents is key. Pupils’ progress is assessed three times per year, and parents are invited for in-depth discussions about their children’s achievements.

Learning in Nature, Meditation, and Reading

  • Students spend significant time outdoors, using nature as both inspiration and a learning tool. They engage in nature exploration and learn to protect the environment.
  • Between classes, students practice meditation and relaxation techniques. Daily meditation helps children develop self-awareness and take a break from the noise of the world.
  • Reading is a cornerstone of our education. Students have dedicated reading time each day and visit the library once a month.

Sustainable and Healthy Living

  • At TEMEM, children care for animals such as rabbits, snails, a turtle, and chickens. This responsibility fosters empathy and accountability.
  • We teach healthy eating habits and discourage food waste. Leftover food is used to feed our animals or shared with neighbours’ goats and chickens.
  • Students learn to recycle, reuse, and use resources responsibly.

FACTS, NOT OPINIONS
We are one of the first schools in Lithuania to provide a real individualized and data-based education. To improve children's achievements, we use a variety of educational data, on which we base decisions and modify educational process, aiming for quality.
1
EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT
We educate in an environment where we encourage action, creation, research, and confidence in our knowledge, skills and technologies. Our school is surrounded by nature, where we often find inspiration for ideas.
2
WE CREATE CHALLENGES
Our pupils learn to set individual education goals, pursue them boldly and responsibly, without a fear of making mistakes. We overcome challenges through experimentation, discovery and invention, creation and collaboration.
3
EDUCATIONAL PROCESS
Teaching and learning is purposeful, diverse, flexible and collaborative. In our school, the results of education and the process of learning and achieving are equally significant.
4
TECHNOLOGY
Applying knowledge and abilities to the practical improvement of human life, or in other words, to changing the human environment.
1
ARTS
Various creative activities such as painting, music, literature and dance. Some of arts have a history of thousands of years, while some have only emerged enabled by modern technology.
2

Technology and Arts is an interdisciplinary branch focused on the harmonious integration of two seemingly unrelated fields in order to educate modern people, ensuring the most important foundations for a versatile personality development.

In our school, the technological curiosity and drive of the Alpha generation is enabled to achieve the intended educational goals.
